Andrea is one of the two of the women involved in the Andrea and Monica case. She has requested anonymity; this has been upheld by the courts. ‘Andrea’ is a pseudonym.
Andrea story in her own words was printed in two articles by Union News. In the first article she tells the story of being targeted by Neri, an undercover officer. In the second article, she writes about the impact of discovering he was an undercover officer.
Andrea met Carlo Neri at a big anti-war demonstration in 2002. Quickly they started a relationship which lasted for two years. Andrea has since found out that the man she thought was Carlo Neri was an undercover police officer.
